As we reflect on 2024, we see a year of incredible growth, learning, and moments that shaped PENGINEER’s journey. 2024 was a year filled with ups and downs for PENGINEER. As I sit here on the last workday of the year with my beloved dogs, Laime and Taengtaeng, by my side, I can’t help but reflect on how quickly the year has passed. It feels like only yesterday I was eagerly preparing for the launch of KYUNGLAS and looking forward to all that 2024 would bring.
Time flows relentlessly, and this year reminded me of its fleeting nature. My dear Laime will soon turn 15, and Taengtaeng steps into his ninth year. When I was younger, I wished time would fly by, but now, I find myself wanting to savor every moment.

This year also brought moments of profound sadness. A few days ago, the nation mourned after a tragic accident. Like many, I felt overwhelmed by the weight of the news. It reminded me of the day my father passed away—a painful moment that taught me the importance of cherishing life. I realized that the best way to honor those we’ve lost is not by being consumed with grief but by living fully, just as they would have wanted.

Even on the most ordinary days, life offers moments of warmth. A quiet walk with my dogs, feeding them their favorite meals, and telling them, “I love you,” remind me of how precious life is. These simple joys bring strength and comfort, reminding us of what truly matters.
