When I first ventured into the pet industry, my goal was to discover and import the best pet products from around the world. The Pet Business has allowed me to discover unique products and share them with Korean pet owners. For about 2–3 years, I traveled to various countries, exploring and collecting brands with excellent products
At the time, my dog was struggling with separation anxiety and depression. Traveling together allowed us to discover unique products that brought us joy. I introduced some of these products to Korean consumers, marking the start of my business journey.
Addressing a Personal Pain Point
Through my experience in the Pet Business, I identified the need for more reliable, pet-friendly products. While I initially found fulfillment in importing and selling products, I soon encountered a significant pain point. Many of the products I encountered lacked the reliability to ensure my dog’s safety fully.”
This realization ignited a dream: to create products perfectly tailored to the needs of dogs, prioritizing their safety and comfort. Two years after starting my pet business, I turned this dream into reality by developing the ABUBA dog backpack, a specialized carrier for dogs.
From Dog Backpacks to Dog Goggles
What began as a journey to create the perfect backpack for my dog has since expanded to include Kyunglas, a dog goggle designed to protect canine eye health. These goggles aim to enhance outdoor experiences for dogs, ensuring safety and comfort.
